Getting a machine for your location

What does Smart Mart provide?

We install, stock, and service smart vending machines for Portland-area workplaces and properties. Micro markets are another option for suitable spaces. We help choose a setup and product mix for your location.

Is there a cost to have a machine installed?

For qualifying locations, there is no equipment cost to the business. A free site assessment helps us confirm demand, access, space, and placement details before you commit. Customers pay for the items they purchase.

What makes a location a good fit?

We consider the people who use the building, their schedules, nearby food options, available space, and access for restocking. Offices, warehouses, apartment properties, healthcare sites, and gyms can be worth assessing. There is no need to guess—tell us about your location.

Where do you provide service?

We serve the Portland area and nearby communities in Oregon and Washington. Contact us with your address so we can confirm whether your location fits our service route.

Who handles stocking and maintenance?

Smart Mart handles installation, stocking, product rotation, maintenance, and service for our managed placements. We confirm access and responsibilities with you during setup.

Can we choose the products and screen content?

We can discuss snacks, drinks, and suitable non-food essentials for your audience. The top display can show custom images, videos, announcements, or promotions. Product suitability, stock, and display content are confirmed for each location.

What happens after I request an assessment?

We contact you to learn about the building, discuss possible setups, and arrange the next step. Submitting a request does not confirm an installation or reserve a calendar appointment.

Using the machine

How does shopping work?

Tap an accepted card or mobile wallet at the reader, open the door when it unlocks, take the items you want, and close the door fully. The machine identifies the items removed and processes the purchase. Follow the instructions on the reader.

Which payment methods can I use?

Check the reader for the cards and mobile wallets accepted by that machine. The smart machines shown in our demo use cashless payment. You do not need the Smart Mart Leads or Ops apps to shop.

Can I try it before using a real machine?

Yes. Our interactive demo walks you through tapping the reader, opening the door, grabbing items, and closing the door. No payment card or real purchase is required.

Is the machine available 24/7?

It can serve shoppers whenever the building allows access. Opening hours and access rules depend on the location.

What if I have a payment or product issue?

Contact Smart Mart with the machine location, the approximate time, and a description of the issue. Do not send your full card number or security code. We will help review what happened.

How do I contact you?

Call 503-495-3438, text 503-457-6757, or email info@smartmartscanandgrab.com. For an urgent issue at a machine, include its location so we can identify it.

Smart Mart apps

Are Leads and Ops part of the vending service?

The apps are separate tools for vending operators. Leads helps research potential locations; Ops helps organize machines, inventory, and route work. They are not required for shoppers or for requesting a managed placement.

Where can I find app subscriptions, privacy, and terms?

Visit the Smart Mart Apps page for download links, subscription information, support, and terms. Current prices and trial conditions are shown in your app store before purchase.
